A standoff at the French Roads Apartments Saturday night ended tragically when a man inside one of the apartments took his own life. Beaumont police were called to the apartment complex in reference to a domestic dispute. Beaumont SWAT was called to the scene and after about fours of negotiations the man inside the apartment shot himself. His name has not been released.
